John was born in Suffolk is a fourth generation farmer and although trained conventionally has farmed organically since 1999. Although the initial reasons for converting to organic production were financially driven, John now has gone completely “native”. This has fuelled not only him but the workforce on the farm and more recently neighbouring farmers to take up the organic banner. John’s passion for organic farming and conservation sees him on local and national agricultural organic steering committees and is currently Vice-Chairman of the Suffolk Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group.
